Eco Retreats is run by Michael and ChaNan Bonser.  Michael has spent years living in tipis in Wales and Spain. He loves the simplicity and the beauty of canvas on inspiring structures and is passionate about the Great Outdoors.

ChaNan spent her youth training at the top end of the hospitality industry in London. This experience, combined with the passion she carries about all things eco, gives an uncompromising line of quality of which we are proud.

Together we love our business and are in awe of the wonderful land the Eco Retreats site occupies.  We aim to ensure you have a fantastic stay with top quality service from the moment of enquiry, in the knowledge that we are doing our best to keep both your and our impact to a minimum.

Our Team We are supported by a fantastic team of cleaners, healers, meditators and friends.  We take the time to build up the team spirit and everyone is committed to the principles of minimum impact and a sustainable way of life.

How To Get Here
    By Car - head for Machynlleth, from there we will give you detailed directions and a map to get to Eco Retreats.
    By Public Transport - To come by train, the closest station is Machynlleth, from there you will need to pre book a taxi (Mach Taxis - 01654 702048) or we can arrange a transfer for you by prior arrangement (there will be an extra charge for this service). 
To come by bus there is a service to Ceinws - the closest village to the site - and from here we can arrange to meet you.
